Can I Extract All Items from a List Without Knowing the Count?

When scraping data from a website, you might encounter situations where you need to extract all the items from a list, but you don't know the exact number of items beforehand. Manually counting the items can be tedious and time-consuming, especially for large lists.

When configuring your robot to capture a list, you can set the data limit to a large number that you're confident will exceed the actual number of items in the list. For example, you could set the limit to 1,000, 2,000 and so on...

This way, you can ensure that your robot extracts all the available items from the list without you needing to know the exact count. Browse AI will continue to extract items until it reaches the end of the list, even if it doesn't reach the specified limit.

Things to Note:

  • If you set the data limit to a larger one, your robot will initially reserve that amount of credits, even if the actual number of items is lower. Don't worry, though! Browse AI will automatically return the credit overage to your account after the task run is complete.
  • Setting a high data limit ensures you capture all the items, but make sure you have enough credits to cover the initial reservation.
