Each plan provides you with a specific number of monthly or annual credits. Credits are calculated based on your usage and cost:
The amount of data you scrape, extract or monitor.
The cost of extracting data from that website.
How are credits calculated?
Standard sites
Minimum cost per task = 1 credit
10 rows of data = 1 credit
1 screenshot on its own = 1 credit. A screenshot added to a task that already costs more than 1 credit adds 0.1 credit.
All single captured texts in a task = 0.1 credit in total, however many there are.
Premium sites
Premium sites cost more to extract, scrape and monitor due to additional bot prevention tactics and site security.
Minimum cost per task = 2 to 10 credits
Rows, screenshots and single texts cost the same as on standard sites. Only the minimum per task is higher.
Building robots with AI (Table Studio)
Building a robot with AI in Table Studio is free up to your plan's AI training allowance. After that, each new robot uses 20 credits, which covers 5 previews. If a preview fails on our side, nothing is charged. Training a robot in Robot Studio doesn't use credits. You can see training credits separately from task credits under My plan & usage → Usage.
What is a task?
A task is a single execution of your robot, so every time your robot visits a website to scrape, monitor extract data or capture screenshots - it is executing a task.
Different types of tasks include:
Extracting data from a list page.
Capturing data from a detail page.
Taking screenshots of a webpage.
Checking for changes during a monitoring run.
Running a robot as part of a workflow.
How does your pricing work?
We offer different plans based on the amount of data and use case.
Free plan is great to get started and includes 2 websites and 50 credits monthly.
Personal plans offer 5 websites and up to 24,000 credits annually.
Professional plans include 10 websites and up to 360,000 credits annually.
If you're looking to scrape, extract or monitor a large volume of data or from a large number of websites our Premium Plan offers customized volume pricing.
How do my usage costs scale?
As you scale with Browse AI your cost per credit decreases this means that in our highest tiered plan, you'll be paying our lowest cost per credit.
Can I add additional credits to my plan?
Yes. On annual plans you can buy one-time credits (minimum 1,000) from Billing with + Add credits. They aren't available on the Free plan or legacy plans. The cost is based on your plan. For details please see our pricing page.
Do my credits roll over?
Plan credits don't. They reflect your usage limit within your billing period (either monthly or annual) and reset each cycle. Unused one-time credits (top-ups) do roll over at renewal, but they're lost if your workspace drops to the Free plan. One of the benefits of an annual plan is you get all credits upfront, meaning that you have an annual limit of usage vs. having to manage usage monthly.
Credit usage examples
Example 1: Extracting a list of products
If you extract a list of 50 products from a single page:
Credit calculation: 50 rows × 0.1 credit per row = 5 credits.
You'll use 5 credits for this task.
Example 2: Extracting a small list
If you extract a list of 8 products:
Credit calculation: 8 rows × 0.1 credit per row = 0.8 credits.
Since this is below the minimum, you'll use 1 credit.
Example 3: Extracting from detail pages
If you need data from 20 individual product pages:
Each page requires a separate task.
Credit calculation: 20 tasks × 1 credit minimum = 20 credits.
You'll use 20 credits for this extraction.
Example 4: Deep scraping (lists + details)
If you extract a list of 100 product links and then visit each product page:
List extraction: 100 rows × 0.1 credit = 10 credits.
Detail page extraction: 100 pages × 1 credit = 100 credits.
Total: 110 credits.
Example 5: Premium site extraction
If you extract 45 items from a Premium site (with a minimum cost of 5 credits):
Credit calculation: 45 rows × 0.1 credit = 4.5 credits.
Since the Premium minimum is higher, you'll use 5 credits.
Example 6: Monitoring websites
If you monitor 10 product detail pages for changes every 3 days:
Each check runs as a separate task: 10 pages × 1 credit = 10 credits per check.
Monthly usage: 10 credits × (30 days ÷ 3 days) = 100 credits per month.
