What does the Browse AI Chrome extension do?

The Browse AI Chrome extension is a Visual Training option for sites Table Studio and Robot Studio can't train.

💡 Start in Table Studio if the data is already visible on the page. Use Robot Studio if you need to click, type, or log in with a password. Use the Chrome extension only if Table Studio and Robot Studio can't train the site.

What the extension does

The Browse AI Chrome extension helps you:

  • Record your actions (clicks, scrolls, and data selections) when creating a robot

  • Analyze webpage structure to identify data patterns as you build

  • Send your automation instructions securely to Browse AI servers

  • Schedule regular data extraction runs in the cloud

When building robots with the extension, you can choose to allow anonymous performance data collection to help us improve our service. This is completely optional and can be disabled in the extension settings.

What the extension doesn't do

For your peace of mind, the Browse AI Chrome extension:

  • Does not collect any personal information or browsing history

  • Only activates when you're actively building or running a robot

  • Never records your browsing activity outside of robot creation

  • Doesn't alter your normal browsing experience

How the extension fits

The Chrome extension sits next to Robot Studio under Visual Training. Use it when Table Studio and Robot Studio can't train the site.
