What does the "Bulk Run" feature do?

Our powerful Bulk Run feature allows you to easily execute multiple tasks simultaneously. This feature is an absolute game-changer if you deal with large amounts of data spread across numerous detail pages. Its automated functionality eliminates the need to manually run URLs individually, saving you precious time and boosting your productivity!

Here's a brief video that explains how to use Browse AI's Bulk Run feature.

To do a bulk run, here are some things to keep in mind:

  • You need two robots: One for extracting the links (Robot A), and one for extracting the details within those links (Robot B).
  • Once the task is finished running on Robot A, download the CSV file, go to Robot B, click on Bulk Run, and upload it. However, if you already have the URL spreadsheet prepared beforehand, and it pertains to the same details pages as what Robot B has trained on, then you can go ahead and upload the CSV file.
  • Calibrate the input parameters to match the links on your spreadsheet to the Origin URL.
  • You can always pause or stop a bulk run task anytime you need to. You can find this in the History tab of your robot:

More things to keep in mind about credit usage:

  • Let’s break it down: Say your URL spreadsheet or even the webpage’s total array of data, is only 20 or 30, but when you trained Robot B, you told it to handle 100 list items — To ensure a successful Bulk Run, you’ll need enough overage credits for those 100 list items. Don’t worry, though! It’s really just going to use 20 credits, as the robots work their magic based on the quantity you input. It’s a bit like prepping for a larger party, but only a few guests show up. You can learn more about credit calculation here.

Bulk Run and Integrations:

  • Our Bulk Run feature is a champ as it gets utilized on workflows and integration, but just a heads up: After integrating a service or a spreadsheet like Google Sheets, try not to change the column headers’ names. The calibration that was done during the integration may not work as expected, and data extraction might not work as smoothly. If you absolutely need to change the name, make sure to recalibrate the spreadsheet to avoid running into errors.
