Prerequisites

To connect Browse AI with Zapier, you'll need:

  • A Browse AI account with at least one approved robot

  • A Zapier account (free or paid plan)

  • The app or service you want to connect with Browse AI

What is Zapier?

Zapier is an automation platform that connects different apps and services together, allowing you to create powerful workflows without coding.

With Zapier, you can send Browse AI's extracted data to over 7,000 apps or trigger Browse AI robots based on events in other apps.

Setting up your first Zap

You can create a Zap (automated workflow) in two ways:

Run a Zap every time a Browse AI Robot executes a task

There are two ways you can start this process.

Option 1: Start from Browse AI

  1. Go to your Browse AI dashboard

  2. Select your robot

  3. Click the "Integrate" tab

  4. Select the Zapier tile

  5. Choose from suggested templates or search for your desired app

Option 2: Start from Zapier

  1. Search for your desired app or choose from suggested templates

  2. Follow Zapier's guided setup process

Configuring your trigger

Now that you have selected the app, you must set up the trigger.

  1. Choose your robot from the dropdown menu

  2. Select your trigger event (note that not all trigger events are available for every integration):

    • Monitor detected changes

    • Task completion (success or error)

    • Successful task completion only

    • Failed task completion only

  3. Test your trigger to ensure it works

  4. Connect to your desired app and map the data fields

Popular automation examples

Here are some common ways to use Browse AI with Zapier:

  • Send scraped leads directly to your CRM

  • Update spreadsheets with monitored price changes

  • Notify your team on Slack when specific data changes

  • Trigger data extraction when new entries appear in your systems

Advanced usage: Deep scraping automation

You can connect multiple Browse AI robots through Zapier to create powerful deep scraping workflows. For example:

  1. Robot A extracts product URLs from category pages

  2. Zapier sends each URL to Robot B

  3. Robot B extracts detailed product information

  4. Zapier sends the complete data to your desired destination

Note: Avoid creating infinite loops by ensuring robots don't trigger themselves.

Troubleshooting tips

  • Verify your Browse AI account is properly connected in Zapier

  • Ensure your robot has run successfully at least once

  • Check that all required fields are mapped correctly

  • Monitor your Zapier task history for any errors
