How do you make sure my data is secure?

Browse AI takes a security-by-design approach to protecting your data. Our team continues to make investments so you can use Browse AI with confidence. Our infrastructure is designed with layers of protection to help ensure your data is secure while transmitted, stored, or processed. Protections include but are not limited to encryption, least privilege access, and secure software development.

SOC 2 Compliance: We are actively working towards SOC 2 Type 2 certification, which we expect to obtain by January 2025.

Below are some highlights:

  • We use Auth0 to authenticate users and store their Browse AI account credentials. We don't store any Browse AI account credentials on our infrastructure.
  • Our services and databases are hosted in AWS US data centers, ensuring high-security standards.
  • We use TLS 1.2 wherever possible (both via Browse AI and external API services). You can find more details here.
  • We continuously monitor our systems for any anomalies or unauthorized access attempts. With a dedicated security operations team and advanced monitoring tools in place, we quickly detect, respond to, and mitigate any potential security incidents. Additionally, we regularly review audit logs to ensure compliance with intewrnal security policies.
  • Any passwords entered during recordings are encrypted with the AES-256 algorithm and stored in a database. They are only decrypted on the server when running a task. You and your team members who have access to the task can never access the decrypted input on the dashboard or through the API.
  • Datadog is used for monitoring the application and storing its logs for up to 30 days for troubleshooting purposes. We make sure no sensitive information, such as encrypted inputs, are ever logged.
  • Our support team can only access your robots upon request, and their actions are carefully monitored to ensure that they only access authorized robots. They are unable to access encrypted inputs, such as recorded passwords.
  • We have a Privacy Policy document that outlines what information we collect and where and how it is processed and stored.
